City offices to close July 4
CTS buses will not run on Independence Day
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – City of Clarksville offices will close Wednesday, July 4 to observe Independence Day.
City Public Safety departments will be on duty as usual and all essential City services will continue.
Clarksville Transit System will be closed Independence Day, and no bus routes will operate. Its buses will resume regular service on Thursday, July 5.
Clarksville Gas and Water administration and engineering offices, including the north and south customer service centers, also will be closed July 4. In the event of a gas, water or sewer emergency, customers should call, (931) 645-7400, or the emergency after-hours line, (931) 645-0116. The Utility Billing Line, (931) 645-7400, automated pay by phone; and WebConnect, www.clarksvillegw.com, online bill payment feature, will be operational.
CDE Lightband offices will be closed July 4. In the event of a service outage, customers should call (931) 648-8151. Customers can go online at https://cdelightband.com/customer-service/ for service and bill paying information.
All City of Clarksville offices will reopen on Thursday, July 5.
To observe America’s birthday, the City of Clarksville will present its 11th annual Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 3 at Liberty Park. The event is free and open to the public.
Liberty Park will open at 5 p.m. Tuesday to allow handicap parking and activities and music will begin at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. Seating is available throughout the park and the concerts will take place on the Great Lawn of the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
