Parking and Road Closures for the Event

Both parking lots, the courtesy boat dock and the boat ramp at McGregor Park will be closed all day July 3, beginning at 7 a.m. 

The two southbound lanes and the center turn lane of Riverside Drive will be closed in front of McGregor Park beginning at 3 p.m. on July 3 and only two-way traffic will be permitted from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

From 8:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Riverside Drive will be closed to through traffic from College Street to 2nd Street.

Guests are encouraged to park at Fairgrounds Park and ride the Clarksville Transit System (CTS) buses to McGregor Park.  Buses will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. and will be arriving every half hour until the event ends.  CTS has increased the number of buses on the route to transport guests back to Fairgrounds Park after the event and the buses will be assisted as needed by the Clarksville Police Department in navigating traffic between McGregor Park and Fairgrounds Park.  The pick-up point at Fairgrounds Park will be at the former location of the Wilma Rudolph Pavilion and the pick-up at McGregor Park will be at the entrance from Riverside Drive to the Boat Ramp area.

No roaming solicitation is allowed.
No weapons are allowed.
No pets allowed during the event.
No drugs or alcoholic beverages allowed.
No fights or foul language allowed.
