Watch teams from near and far compete to see who has the best barbecue (BBQ)! Enjoy live music, inflatables, artisan vendors, a corn hole tournament and more! Beer and BBQ will be available for purchase.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation is hosting its 4th barbecue contest at Liberty Park! Teams can be comprised of multiple or an individual. Competitors will cook chicken, pork ribs, and pork butt. There will be $5,000 total in cash prizes.

CornHole Tournament
Cornhole or Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the corn hole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places teams.

FOOD VENDORS
During the BBQ competition, participants spend the majority of their time perfecting their BBQ, leaving little time to provide samples to the event-goers. We are reaching out to local BBQ restaurants as a way to still provide barbecue or other food options, which will be available for purchase at the event. After a $150 vendor fee, your company will have the opportunity to increase brand awareness and profit from this event.

ARTISAN VENDORS
Artisans craft their products with their own hands and on their own or leased property, locally within the state of Tennessee or an adjoining county. Upon completion of the online application, artisan vendors will go through a selection process and be notified of acceptance.

$25 per vendor (fee is due after acceptance)

CORPORATE Promotional Booth
Your company will be in front of an audience of 3,000+, all while tasting barbecue, enjoying a game of corn hole, playing in the Kids Zone, or hopping on a hayride. Here’s an opportunity to equate your brand with the community and amplify your reach. This includes businesses that have a product or service that cannot be sold on-site, informational booths only!
