CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water has closed a section of Tobacco Road to all through traffic between Tiny Town Road and Sturdivant Drive for natural gas line repair.
This section of Tobacco Road will not be accessible from Tiny Town Road and motorists traveling north on Tobacco Road will be turned around to avoid the work zone.
Residents may access Sturdivant Drive and the Sunset Meadows subdivision by Tiny Town Road and Sunset Meadows Way. All other motorists are advised to avoid the area until work is complete.
The repair work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 8 p.m.
