UPDATE:

The Rufus Johnson Road closure for gas line maintenance work has been completed and the road reopened ahead of schedule.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water has closed Rufus Johnson Road for gas line maintenance work.

Motorists will be detoured to Martin Luther King Parkway and Madison Street to avoid the work zone.

The gas line maintenance work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 6:00 p.m.­­­­­
