Don't miss the Welcome Home Veterans Parade this Saturday

Veterans Day Parade

CLARKSVILLE, TN - Historic Downtown Clarksville will welcome home home hundreds of veterans this Saturday, Sept 17, at the seventh annual Welcome Home Veteran's Parade.

The parade will leave the First Baptist Church Parking lot at Commerce St. and Hiter St. at 10:00 a.m., proceed on Hiter St. to Franklin St., turn right onto Third St., turn left on Main St., turn left on Second St., turn left on Commerce St. and conclude at the church parking lot.

The following downtown roads will be closed from 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

• Franklin St. from Hiter St. to Third St.

• Third St. from Franklin to Main St.

• Main St. from 3rd St. to 2nd St.

• Second St. from Main St. to Commerce St.

• Commerce St. from Second St. to 5th Street at First Baptist Church

The public is invited to watch the parade and cheer for the veterans who will be participating. All veterans are welcome to participate in the parade but are encouraged to register at www.welcomehomeveteranscelebration.com
