[ARCHIVED] Natural gas safety awareness phone survey underway

Clarksville Gas and Water

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water is conducting an important phone survey by a professional survey service to evaluate its public natural gas safety awareness efforts.

The Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates the implementation of a survey to measure how well your natural gas utility’s public outreach promotes safety within the community and for anyone who lives near or along a natural gas pipeline.

The phone survey software randomly selects customers and non-customers to call in the Clarksville service area to participate. The short 2-3 minute survey asks for YES or NO responses to general natural gas safety questions and the survey does not ask for any personal information. It is completely anonymous.

Clarksville Gas & Water estimates the phone survey to be finished within two-three weeks of this notice and offers their appreciation for your important feedback and participation.

Please direct questions to the Clarksville Gas Department at (931) 645-7422, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or more information is available online at www.cityofclarksville.com/230/Gas-Water.
