Patriot's Day, September 11, is a day of remembrance.

Thank you for helping us remember all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice 22 years ago. May we never forget!

Thank you, Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts and Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden, for leading the morning ceremonies at Clarksville Fire Rescue's Main Station, with your words of compassion and patriotism.

We also remembered the firefighters who died in the line of duty at Clarksville Fire Rescue.
-Firefighter Claude B. Walker died in the line of duty on December 3, 1960.
-Captain George “Pen” Wilson died in the line of duty on May 13, 1967.
-Engineer Ray Harrison died in the line of duty on August 21, 1981.

Thank you to the families in attendance.
