Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage on Monday, August 5, at 8 a.m. by contractors on Chapel Street from Beech Street to Market Street for water valve replacement work. Low water pressure may also affect area residents.
Chapel Street will also be closed to traffic from Locust Street to Market Street during the work. Motorists will be detoured to Market Street and Beech Street.
The valve replacement work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 2 p.m.
