City Parks & Recreation Guide available

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The 2020 January - April Clarksville Parks & Recreation Activity Guide is now available, offering details about more than 100 programs and events, a detailed map showing all 48 of the department’s parks, trails and facilities, and information about rentals for private functions. 

The guide also offers information about several new events and programs from January to April in the City’s parks, recreation centers and pools and includes information about current and upcoming park projects and improvements.

Here are a couple of the new programs you can find in the January - April Activity Guide:

  • Fit Family Circuit Training – Families are invited to do circuit training around the pool to learn some fun ways to stay fit! Saturday, January 11, 6-8PM at New Providence Pool. Free admission. 
  • Hopping Into Easter – Come decorate Easter eggs with special hand-made papers and washi tape at Burt-Cobb Recreation Center, Thursday, April 9, 5:30-7:30PM. Free Admission  
  • Civil War Artifact Show -- Local artifact collectors will display their Civil War collections. Saturday, April 11, 10AM - 3PM at Fort Defiance. Free admission
  • Pickleball Social -- Compete in a single (10AM - 12PM) and/or double (12PM - 2PM) elimination tournament. Saturday, April 11, 10AM - 2PM at Crow Recreation Center. Pre-register by April 8. $5 per person

Clarksville Parks & Recreation Activity Guides are published three times a year in January, May and September. The Activity Guide has been recognized as the best parks and recreation printed marketing effort in the state by the Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association.
