CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water utility construction contractors will begin a 3 week-long underground utility line relocation project beginning Monday, June 1, on Commerce Street at the South Riverside Drive intersection.
Approximately 250 feet of Commerce Street between South Riverside Drive and Sullivan Street will be closed to through traffic to allow for the work. Commerce Street motorists traveling south to Riverside Drive are advised to detour at South 2nd Street.
Weather permitting, work will commence daily on weekdays during daylight hours and is projected to be finished by June 19.
