The Montgomery County Health Department will temporarily relocate its COVID-19 testing site to Richview Middle School, 2350 Memorial Drive, from Thursday, July 16 to Friday, July 31.
Testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday.
Under the traffic plan for the temporary site, vehicles will enter from Memorial Drive and flow to the Richview Middle COVID-19 drive-thru and then exit onto Richview Road.
The change is being made to accommodate early voting at the Montgomery County Election Commission.
To make the transition, COVID-19 testing at the current Veterans Plaza site will be limited from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 15.
“We will work to make this a smooth transition so we can continue providing testing services to the residents of Montgomery County. Our plan is to resume testing back at the Veterans Plaza location on Monday, Aug. 3,” said Director of the Montgomery County Health Department Joey Smith.
