The mayor set the date for the Transportation 2020+ Update Meeting for October 2nd at 4:30.

In preparation for this meeting, I am scheduling a couple meet ups to discuss and grab a coffee/beer with Karen during the month of September.  If your community has a scheduled meeting or an area you would like to meet and discuss your ideas, please let me know. All of you know what you need in your community, let’s meet and discuss your concerns and what you would like to see done.

  A resident reached out to give me the first idea and I added a few others:

1.Sidewalk along Old Trenton
2.Beautification of the Needmore/Whitfield Traffic Circle
3.Sidewalks in the Needmore area
4.Improve the drainage in the Lark/Needmore area.
5.Improve the drainage on Trenton Road/Hazelwood Drive

The requests are wide open, is there open space in your community that you would like to see converted to a park, add sidewalks or crosswalks? Bring your ideas, big and small.

The places and dates for our meetings are:

Sun – 10 September-1 to 3 PM at Get Some Coffee (3862 Trenton Rd Ste C, Clarksville, TN 37040)
Wed – 13 September-5:30 to 7PM at The Fallen Brewery (1761 Jardco Dr, Clarksville, TN 37040)
Tue - 19 September 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Lasater Coffee and Tea (2250 Wilma Rudolph Blvd, Clarksville, TN 37040)

If there is time, I would be happy to discuss other concerns, but the focus of these meetings will be the Transportation 2020+ plan.
